The Process: We trim your cat's nails to the ideal length, apply a tiny drop of adhesive, and gently press the cap onto each claw. It takes about 10 minutes and your cat barely notices.

  • Yes, most cats tolerate nail caps extremely well. Designed for cats, nail caps come in a multiple sizes. Sizes range from XS-L.

    At your appointment, we will fit each claw with an appropriate sized nail cap. Once sized, each nail cap is filled with adhesive and we gently slide the nail cap over your cat’s claw. For 20 seconds we press while massaging adhesive hugs every groove of your cat’s claw.

    And just like that, your cat’s claws are back to their natural function.

  • Nail caps were created by Dr. Toby Wexler, a veterinarian. The nail cap and adhesive is carefully formulated so that is does not compromise safety for performance. All ingredients and formulas undergo a thorough safety evaluation highly regulated by the FDA. The adhesive is the same veterinary-grade glue used for surgical procedures. They've been used safely on millions of cats for over 25 years.

    Note: I, Maureen O’Connor take safety very seriously and am committed to product safety and your cat’s wellbeing. I make sure to ONLY use nail caps when they are safe to use as directed. I will not apply nail caps to cats claws that have active fungus or food allergy.

    Most cat owners don’t know if their cat is experiencing a health issue prior to nail caps. Should I find your cat is having a health issue with their claws I will make you aware. That is my promise to you and cherished cat.

  • Cats can sometimes think they know whats best for themselves- they are known for being independent. If they do decide to chew a few off or some nail caps pop off, we offer a warranty up to seven (7) days.

    If your cat spends time outside, nail caps are not for them.

  • Nail caps are designed for indoor cats only. If your cat goes outdoors, they should NOT wear nail caps. They will tear their manicure and your wallet up.

  • Proper application is key to making your kitty’s manicure last. We are sure to start with properly prepped nails- this means wiping them clean with Vetericyn Antimicrobial Cat Wash. Nail caps can last up to six (6) weeks.
