The Catty Shack is a tip-free grooming salon. Anytime a client insists on tipping (myself) that tip is donated to Animal Advocates of Moore County (AAMC). AAMC is committed to all aspects of animal welfare; including spay/neuter, animal cruelty, and animal rescue. AAMC also provides community education and diligence towards humane legislation. AAMC is dedicated to giving a voice to the voiceless.

For that very reason, The Catty Shack donates one (1) free groom to every individual that adopts their forever cat from the Moore Humane Society. Rescuing saves lives!

Moore County Feral Feline Community

Here at The Catty Shack, I do my very best to give street cats a fighting chance. 🥊 Our County has many cats without homes, some born behind dumpsters, others in parking lots and sadly, many left behind to fend for themselves.

Rain or shine, I fill the bellies of over 150 cats across multiple colonies every day. In addition to providing safe meals; I trap, spay/neuter, and return them healthier, stopping the cycle of more kittens on the streets. I'm not just a cat groomer, I'm a dedicated animal advocate turning tough beginnings into happy endings with a whole lot of love in between. 💕
